Our client is a global production and live events agency who deliver a wide range of international events such as product launches, road shows, conferences and experiential events to an impressive client base. They are able to provide the full service experience to their clients including Virgin, Curry’s and HP amongst others.
They are part of a global group and have a newly created opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join their team and develop existing client relationships, whilst also identifying new clients. Reporting directly to the Managing Director your responsibilities will include:
• Liaising with Account Directors and networking across current accounts
• Identifying new opportunities for the agency
• Credential presentations
• Managing the proposal and pitch process
• Winning new business for the agency
You will be responsible for molding the entire new business process from start to finish, whether it is PR & Marketing or how the business seeks new opportunities from existing accounts the BDM sets the strategy and is given the resources, support and freedom to make it happen.
The ideal candidate must have proven experience in new business; live events experience from either a corporate or agency background and be a fantastic communicator on every level. This is flexible on location but you will be expected to be in the Midlands office at least once a week.
