This leading publishing and PCO business based in central London is expanding their events team and are recruiting someone to sell their portfolio of events and sponsorship across the healthcare sector. Events range from branded events linked to their publications, national association events and bespoke pharma events for which you must be able to take a brief and take a consultative approach to with clients.
You will be responsible for selling a range of services, sponsorship and exhibition space to pharmaceutical and healthcare service suppliers. You will be expected to develop new relationships as well as account manage existing clients. The role will involve overseeing projects from conception to delivery.
This is an exciting but challenging opportunity to take on a role that is genuinely cross-functional, encompassing both sales and account management.
The successful candidate might be someone with solid experience in selling events and looking for a new challenge or it could be an experienced individual that has been selling to pharmaceutical clients who is looking to broaden their experience base. You could also be from a sponsorship sales background in a different sector - but a deep understanding of pharma is the ideal.
