My client offers a wide range of event services from venue and accommodation booking, to conference and exhibitions management across global locations. For the last 20 years, they can pride themselves on being able to understand their clients needs and respond in an imaginative way, pulling together all of their experience to put together a superb solution to any events brief. Working across a range of clients including BT, BP, Honda, Royal Mail and Skoda, they have built up relationships, and totally understand their client’s current and projected event requirements.
Due to a fantastic year so far with the business going from strength to strength they are currently recruiting a Client Manager to head up one of their dedicated telecoms teams. Reporting into the Operations Manager this role will be very hands on in terms of team management and reporting with the Client Manager having overall responsibility to maximise revenue on that account.
Key duties include:
· Managing contracts including renegotiation and renewals
· Continual review of service level agreements
· Line management of team members
· Managing the budget and increasing revenue wherever possible
· Working with the Client Development Manager to develop new business opportunities within the account
This is great opportunity for someone with a strong conference and event background or alternatively with hotel experience to really develop an already strong relationship with a key client.
