My client offers a wide range of event services from venue and accommodation booking, to conference and exhibitions management across global locations. For the last 20 years, they can pride themselves on being able to understand their clients needs and respond in an imaginative way, pulling together all of their experience to put together a superb solution to any events brief. Working across a range of clients including BT, BP, Honda, Royal Mail and Skoda, they have built up relationships, and totally understand their client’s current and projected event requirements.
Due to a fantastic year so far with the business going from strength to strength they are currently recruiting a number of new positions including two Client Coordinators to work on specific account teams.
Your role will be wide and varied and will include:
· Full liaison with client requests for accommodation, conference and other related services such as transport, entertainment etc.
· Sourcing venues and suppliers for clients
· Assistance in the organisation of conferences and parties held both in the UK and Europe
· Occasional on-site attendance
· Development of your clients through networking and client meetings
· Improving your venue knowledge through FAM trips and site visits
· Being aware of the company’s other services and upselling to your client
These roles are ideal for a candidate who has a little bit of event experience either from an agency, corporate or hotel environment or indeed a fresh graduate with a year’s placement experience in either an agency or hotel.
