The Role
As Account Director, you will be responsible for establishing new business opportunities, managing key client accounts and overseeing the seamless delivery of events across the team. Responsibilities will include:
- Seeking new business opportunities with brand new clients
- Unearthing opportunities within existing accounts to encourage growth and retention
- Building and retaining relationships with key clients
- Encouraging a solutions based response to client briefs
- Leading creative ideation processes
- Managing the pitching process to establish confirmed projects
- Overseeing full project delivery process
- Working with the broader team to implement delivery including onsite management
- Holding financial accountability for accounts and individual projects
- Managing and developing a small team
The Candidate
Candidates must have experience working at a senior level within an event, marketing, experiential or event production agency environment. We are looking for the ability to proactively develop business and grow client accounts as well as a proven understanding of the event production and planning process. An understanding of experiential, influencer marketing or B2C events is essential. Any experience working with clients within the entertainment or gaming sectors would be beneficial.

THE ROLE
Due to continued business wins and the growth accounts there is now an opportunity for an experienced Account Director to join their close-knit team. A broad role, responsibilities include:
• Client and account management
• Taking and interpreting briefs from both new and existing clients
• Working with clients to understand what they are trying to achieve from the event
• Advising clients on solutions and what is possible and being able to communicate technical features and processes to non technical clients
• Creating proposals and pitching for business
• Client management and communication including managing expectations
• Overseeing the delivery of virtual / hybrid and live events
• Working closely with internal teams (including content and production) and external suppliers
• Managing multiple events and clients concurrently
• Budget management
THE CANDIDATE
The ideal candidate should ideally come from an event or production agency and have a proven background of account and client management including taking and interpreting briefs, proposal creation and pitching to clients. Candidates must be client facing and more importantly have the drive and ambition to join this leading creative agency and really make a difference to the events they deliver!
A previous background in delivering live events including conferences (for internal audiences) and understanding the agenda, content and engagement necessary would be an added benefit as would a knowledge of film and design.
