Their broad portfolio includes live international residential and non-residential events including conferences, roadshows, product launches, exhibitions, team building, business meetings, hospitality and incentives for numbers ranging from 20 – 2000 pax. Specialising in a variety of sectors such as Technology and Law, this agency works as a close-knit team ensuring an excellent service is delivered when managing events on behalf of their clients.Due to continued growth, they are now looking for a Senior Event Manager to join their team to support with the end to end managements of their projects.THE ROLEReporting directly into the Head of Events, the responsibilities of a Senior Event Manager will include:• Taking event briefs and working directly with end clients• Contributing to event pitches and costings• Producing and managing project delivery schedules • Adhering to clients' needs, branding, and service regulations• Researching and sourcing venues internationally• Conducting site visits• Briefing internal design and creative teams• Liaising and negotiating with suppliers including production• Managing and reconciling budgets• International onsite event management and onsite team management• Team leadership of 2 direct reportsTHE CANDIDATEThe ideal candidate will have experience of working within an agency environment managing and delivering events from start to finish. You will have excellent organisation skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure. THE ROLEReporting directly into the MD, the responsibilities of the Head of Events will include: • Taking event briefs and working directly with end clients• Leading RFP and RFI responses and pitching• Operational and strategic leadership of the projects team business unit • Oversight of clients' objectives, branding, and SLA regulations• Project resourcing amongst internal teams• Contracting and negotiating with suppliers• Managing and reconciling budgets department and project• Working as Project Director on large scale events• Team leadership of 8-10 direct reports THE CANDIDATEThe ideal candidate will have experience of working within an agency environment at a senior level, overseeing the delivery of a large scale events portfolio. You will have excellent management skills and the ability strategically forecast budgets and resource.
