    THE ROLE
    Due to continued growth and new clients coming on board they are now looking to bring in an experienced Account Manager /Senior Account Manager to manage projects across a number of specific accounts. Working closely with internal teams responsibilities are broad and include:

    • Understanding the clients strategic objectives for both products and account related projects
    • Ensuring the brief and deliverables are communicated effectively to internal teams
    • Working in partnership with the wider team including Medical Writers, Account Executives, Directors and Scientific Advisers to deliver projects
    • Overseeing the delivery of projects, ensuring they stay within scope and on budget
    • Co-ordinating and allocating resources for projects
    • Developing effective working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
    • Ensure the quality of AE generated materials including delegate packs, onsite manuals and status reports
    • Co-ordinating and managing a range of third-party suppliers
    • Ensuring projects are compliant
    • Identifying opportunities for growth both within existing accounts and new accounts
    • Developing and reconciling budgets for each project as well as generating income forecasts
    • UK based and international travel when required


    THE CANDIDATE
    Candidates should ideally have a proven background working for a medical communications agency and have direct experience of managing a number of projects from end to end. Experience of working with both internal and external teams and stakeholders is essential and client facing capabilities are a must! Please note you will be required to undertake both UK and international travel in this role.

    THE ROLE

    Due to an increase in business and a growing demand there is now an opportunity for an Account Manager to come on board and manage the relationship with a number of their clients, ensuring that their objectives are understood and that medical education projects are delivered in line with these. A board role responsibilities include:

    • Managing a number of accounts across the business
    • Developing relationships and advising on additional projects that meet client's needs
    • Working with editorial colleagues to prepare proposals and ensure that appropriate data is available to understand and deliver the project
    • Overseeing planning and delivery of projects, ensuring they stay within scope and on budget
    • Leading on specific projects
    • Liaising with clients to communicate timelines and updates for projects
    • Managing the logistical and contractual needs for client-sponsored meetings
    • Co-ordinating and managing a range of third-party suppliers, including designers/artists, translators and hotels
    • Providing financial management across accounts
    • Line management of Project Coordinator(s) and supporting with resource management of the Project Coordinator team

    THE CANDIDATE

    Candidates must have a proven background of account management, ideally gained from working within a medical communications agency, although other backgrounds will be considered. Strong knowledge and experience working within the pharmaceutical and healthcare field is a must as is the ability to work closely with internal teams and external suppliers. Line management experience is ideal but is not a pre-requisite.
