    THE ROLE

    Due to continued business success there is now an opportunity for a Business Director / Senior Account Director to join their team.

    Reporting directly into the MD you will be responsible for managing a team of Account Managers and developing and growing accounts.

    A broad role, responsibilities will include:

    • Managing and taking the lead across multiple key accounts

    • Devising a strategy for clients - gaining a deep understanding of their business

    • Really understanding what the client is trying to achieve and advising on creative and production

    • Preparing and presenting proposals and new solutions to clients

    • Briefing (and working closely with) internal teams including creative and production

    • Proactively developing relationships and revenue across the accounts

    • Managing the overall account commercials

    • Ensuring operational delivery and managing the client relationship throughout

    • On site management when required

    • Managing and developing a team of Account Managers

    THE CANDIDATE

    Candidates must be client facing and have a proven background of managing and developing accounts, as well as pitching for business. Candidates must come from an agency background and be used to briefing and liaising with in-house teams. Knowledge of production and creative is essential.

    THE CANDIDATE

    The ideal candidate will have proven experience in new business development and account management within the event industry. Ideally, this candidate will have come from an exhibition sales or sponsorship background however this is not essential. Candidates who have experience or a passion for contemporary design, creative industries, technology or culture are particularly desirable but again, not essential.
