With new clients coming to them and existing clients ever expanding there hasn't been a new business person in the agency, but now with the acquisition of another agency and the resource in place this is an exciting time to join their team.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced BDM to come on board and help develop business across the agency: developing their sales and marketing strategy, identifying new opportunities and bringing new clients on board.
This isn't a hard sales role full of phone bashing, they're not that kind of agency. Targeted and considered relationship building that ultimately leads to results is the approach needed.
A broad role, responsibilities include:
* Working with Directors to develop a sales strategy
* Proactively generating new business leads
* Identifying new opportunities
* Actively developing business from new clients
* Arranging client meetings and taking briefs
* Developing RFP's and proposals
* Working with internal teams and the wider business
* Building long lasting relationships
* Networking at events and trade shows
* Monitoring media and trade press for potential opportunities
The ideal candidate will have a proven background in seeking out and winning business ideally gained from working within an event or live experience agency environment, although other event related backgrounds will also be considered. Candidates need to have a solid understanding of the events market and have experience of creating RFP responses and proposals. Candidates must have strengths in developing relationships and identifying opportunities, as well as pitching for business. Any exposure to the pharmaceutical or health-care sector would be an added benefit but is not essential for the role.

With impressive and long established relationships they work across the board to produce and deliver a diverse scope of events including exhibitions, roadshows, incentive travel, activity days, dealer events and ride and drives to name a few.
Having reacted and adapted at tremendous speed to the recent events they are now at an exciting time in their development with the added addition of a new and versatile virtual studio space. Already with a strong uptake and with a broad and diverse range of clients utilising the space they are keen to capitalise on this and drive the business forward.

Due to recent developments they are now looking for an Account Director to come on board and take hold of and develop relationships coming into the business. A broad role responsibilities will include:
* Working closely with the Directors business strategy
* Taking the lead on enquiries coming into the business
* Working with clients to create solutions and pitching for business /upselling
* Managing both existing and new client relationships and developing these
* Developing and strengthening relationships
* Networking across accounts to identify further opportunities
* Driving the strategic direction of the accounts / new clients
* Working in with a commercial focus and maximising profitability
* Overseeing efficient handovers with delivery teams
* Onsite management when required
Candidates must come from an agency background and have proven skills in managing and developing accounts and client relationships, as well as the ability to identify opportunities. Proven experience of working as an Account Manager / Director or BDM would be preferred. Experience of creating proposals and pitching for business is key and any experience of working within the automotive space would be an added benefit but is not essential for the role. Strong commercial skills are essential as are exceptional client and supplier management skills.
