THE ROLE
 
They are now looking for an Event Officer to join their highly social and supportive team to deliver a broad portfolio of events, with end-to-end involvement.
 
The responsibilities of this role will include:
 
  • Managing virtual and live events from concept to delivery
  • Acting as key contact for internal partners and external stakeholders
  • Sourcing speakers and managing logistical needs
  • Organising event requirements including catering, AV, technology platforms, etc.
  • Researching and booking suitable venues
  • Managing online software for delegate registrations
  • Organising support staff and volunteers, including scheduling and briefing
  • Delivering events onsite
  • Managing event budgets
 
 
THE CANDIDATE
 
The ideal candidate will have experience in managing both live and virtual events end-to-end. Any experience working within an academic or membership association would be beneficial but isn’t a pre-requisite. The candidate will also have a high level of organisation skills and the ability to prioritise their own time effectively.
