THE COMPANY
Working across 20 of the biggest exhibition trade shows across the globe, this boutique organisation works closely with one of the largest and most successful exhibition organisers in the world! They represent all UK based exhibitors and attendees to exhibitions and shows across a huge variety of industry sectors including medical, energy, health & safety, machinery, fashion and leisure. Responsible for recruiting UK exhibitors to the wide portfolio of events as well as marketing to visitors and press from the UK they also offer services in the design and build of exhibition stands, pre and post show administration and logistics organisation. Providing a full all-inclusive service our client's expertise provides them with a reputation in the market to be admired.

They are now seeking an Events Executive to come on board and help drive the business forward. With diverse responsibilities and the scope to build a strong career this is an opportunity not to be missed!

THE ROLE
As Events Executive you will be office based, working with a very close knit team - you will gain lots of ongoing support from the wider team and be trusted to manage your own client relationships.

Responsibilities include:

* Building relationships with potential and existing exhibitors
* Managing the application process of exhibitors
* Liaising and negotiating directly with the exhibition organiser
* Proactively selling stand opportunities to new exhibitors
* Encouraging repeat business with existing exhibitors
* Managing exhibitors onsite
* Obtaining and managing feedback between exhibitors and organisers
* Attending networking events to meet new contacts
* Understanding the market in key industry sectors

THE CANDIDATE
Candidates must have some experience in sales and / or relationship management and ideally have an understanding of the exhibition industry. As a client facing role it is essential that you have a confident telephone manner, an outward personality and an understanding of the importance of building strong client relationships. A willingness to travel internationally and a commercially driven attitude towards achieving new client wins and maintaining already established relationships are also required to be considered.
