THE COMPANY
A dominant player in the resources sector, this media group have been successfully producing publications for 20 years with a recent heightened awareness on environmental awareness and the impact of our resources on the planet. Over the past 5 years they have been developing the events management side of the business and have successfully delivered a new series in North America and Australia and are continuing into Asia and Europe. The events facilitate high level C-Suite delegates and deliver unrivalled agendas developed by the editorial team.
THE ROLE
This company are now looking for an Event Executive who will have broad responsibilities across event operations and conference production. This is an opportunity to grow with the team and in the future choose a path to specialise in; whether that be event logistics and operations or conference production including research and developing programmes.
As Event Executive you will be responsible for;
Researching topics and assisting with agenda writing
Speaker recruitment and management
Sponsor liaison
Delivery of events including meetings, dinners and drinks receptions
Liaising with internal sales and editorial teams
Finalising set ups including floor plans and menus
Delegate registration pre event and onsite
International travel to manage events onsite
THE CANDIDATE
To be considered for this role, you will have sound knowledge and understanding of events ideally conferences or exhibitions. You will be enthusiastic and willing to learn new skills in order to progress within the business.
