The Role
As Event Project Director, you will be a key part of the senior leadership team and support with the planning and delivery of live events both in the UK and internationally. You will be expected to have the ability to prioritise workload and delegate tasks down to junior members in the team, whilst ensuring all event members are completing tasks on time, within budget and to a high level of service.
• Working within a close-knit team to a fast pace
• Creating and managing project plans
• Managing event budgets
• Liaising with suppliers and stakeholders
• Leading on events
• Guiding and supporting project coordinators
You will also need to think fast and use your initiative on site when it comes to sourcing the right people and ensuring all elements of the event are covered!
The Candidate
The right candidate will have at least 4-5 years’ experience working in events, within an agency. You will have a good attitude and patience to work well under pressure and to deadlines – you will be a valued member of the team and be expected to take part in pitches and taking over accountability for events.
