THE COMPANY
This established group and their venues are the go to for a variety of large scale events including conferences, awards ceremonies, exhibitions, sporting events, exhibitions and much more for a huge range of exciting clients. With over 750 events per year you will have the opportunity to lead the team in delivering events across a variety of event spaces working with the best in the business.
THE ROLE
With a growing amount of events and clients, there is now the opportunity for a Conference & Banqueting Manager to oversee event operations across site and support the Senior Management in delivering a successful events calendar.
This is a broad role that includes:
THE CANDIDATE
The ideal candidate must have previous experience of working in a catering environment, where they preferably supervised a team. Excellent customer service is a must. Previous experience working in a venue is preferable on large scale events.

- Communicating with the wider catering team to ensure operation excellence and great customer service
- Setting up, delivering and breaking down event operations
- Running team briefings
- Acting as point of liaison between catering staff and management
- Planning catering resources effectively
- Managing and monitoring F&B stock
- Ensuring catering staff comply with H&S and licensing requirements
