The Role
Due to a demand in new business, they are now looking for a Senior Events Manager to join their team.
Duties will include:
• Ability to multi-task across a variety of event projects
• Managing workload and deadlines
• Preparing and managing detailed event budgets
• P&L analysis against closing event budgets
• Maintain a calm and professional approach when client facing
• Contracting, selecting, negotiating, co-ordination with event suppliers.
• Research and collation of information to prepare detailed creative proposal
• Updating and maintaining the company database
• UK and overseas event travel
• Attending industry MICE forums and familiarisation trips
• Understanding a creative approach to client briefs enabling formatting of proposals
• Organising agendas for weekly meetings
• Working under strict NDAs for private clients and some corporate businesses
The Candidate
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years’ work experience in a similar role, ideally with experience either within an agency or client office or within a hotel /venue events office. You will have worked directly with clients and be able to demonstrate the delivery of an event from start to finish.
