THE ROLE

This is a big role that will utilise every ounce of mass participation event experience you have. You'll be leading a multi-disciplinary team to create temporary overlays, and event infrastructure (broadcast, audio, temporary structures etc.), liaising with all key stakeholders and making sure that everything runs flawlessly.

With so much scope there will never be a "strict" list of responsibilities, but broadly speaking:

-Leading all event production for the events
-Taking briefs and driving client meetings
-Working closely with internal teams (event production, creative etc.)
-Engaging and managing specialist suppliers and contractors
-Utilising and managing specialist freelancers
-Co-ordinating all areas of production for seamless delivery
-Acting as central point of contact for key stakeholders
-Co-ordinating blue light services
-Holding overall responsibility for H&S
-Leading budgeting and having financial accountability

THE CANDIDATE

Large scale mass participation experience is a must - whether that's sporting, music or one off public events. You must have a good understanding of each production element needed for large scale public events, and be able to understand and talk the language to specialist suppliers. Experience using CAD and a working knowledge of central London would be very beneficial.

Equally important is a pro-active and collaborative approach to event production as you will be leading some of the agencies largest projects and be a key point of contact for the client.
