Job description

Hybrid working - 2 days in east London / Kent. A fantastic opportunity to grow existing client accounts for the service of international event delivery for a forward-thinking events agency.

THE COMPANY
This events agency delivers an array of live and virtual events for global clients. Their broad portfolio includes live international residential and non-residential events including conferences, roadshows, product launches, exhibitions, team building, business meetings, hospitality and incentives for numbers ranging from 20 – 2000 pax. Specialising in a variety of sectors such as Technology and Law, this agency works as a close-knit team ensuring an excellent service is delivered when managing events on behalf of their clients.

With their client services team continuing to grow they are now looking to bring a sales focussed Senior Account Manager on board to be responsible for proactively developing new business with their top tier clients.

Reporting to the Head of Commercial, the key responsibilities will include:

• Managing client relationships and developing accounts
• Building an understanding of existing client relationships
• Establishing repeat business opportunities
• Unearthing new opportunities and chasing leads within existing accounts
• Taking and developing a client brief
• Leading the pitching process with support from the project team
• Working closely with internal departments and external suppliers
• Holding financial forecasting and target responsibility against accounts
• Implementing strategic planning in relation to account growth

THE CANDIDATE
The ideal candidate will be working at Account Director, Client Services Director or Business Development Director level within an agency environment. We are seeking excellent client management skills, an ambition to succeed and a proven ability to proactively unearth and successfully win new business within existing client accounts.
