we are looking for a Service Engineer to join a fantastic event production agency who work on a diverse range of live events.

THE COMPANY
Working within the UK and Europe, this well-established production agency deliver offer a range of services including lighting, audio and visual solutions as well as staging and scenic construction. Working on both corporate and private projects such as award ceremonies, exhibitions, film premiers and prestige parties, this agency is going from strength to strength.

THE ROLE
An exciting opportunity for a Service Engineer to join a close knit team of technical specialists.

Responsible for the maintenance of technical equipment used for large-scale product launches, televised awards ceremonies and conferences. Your duties will include:

  • Servicing and maintaining technical and electronic kit
  • Testing and repairs of both mechanical and electrical equipment
  • PAT testing equipment and identifying faults
  • Managing repairs workshop
  • Ordering parts and managing spare parts inventory
  • Documenting all repairs and kit hire logs
  • Working with Project Manager and responding to kit list for lighting, audio, video, IT and electronic kit requirements
  • Providing technical support and guidance to colleagues


THE CANDIDATE
The ideal candidate should be a Service Engineer with an electronic engineering qualification, ideally with experience of working within the entertainments industry. You must be have strong interpersonal skills and have the ability to communicate with clients at all levels. A full driving licence would be beneficial.
