Bringing in a dedicated Event Social Media Manager is the next step in professionalising how the agency presents itself, and this hire sits right at the centre of that shift.

The Role

The Event Social Media Manager owns the full social media function for the agency: calendar, copy, asset creation, photographer and videographer briefing, client sign-offs, posting and reporting, all driven proactively with minimal oversight and a real say in what gets shared and how.

– Own and drive the forward social media calendar across multiple clients

– Draft B2B copy aligned to credibility and client acquisition, not follower volume

– Brief, manage and review output from external photographers and videographers

– Secure content sign-offs by proactively chasing internal and client stakeholders

– Create non-photographic assets using Adobe Express templates

– Post to LinkedIn (primary channel) and Instagram

– Produce top-line analytics reports on follower growth and post performance

– Attend weekly planning check-ins to shape the forward content strategy

The Candidate

The right Event Social Media Manager will have managed social media calendars in a multi-client or multi-stakeholder environment, with B2B copywriting experience and the confidence to take a rewrite without it becoming an issue. You will have briefed and managed external photographers or videographers, and you will know how to chase busy people diplomatically until the sign-off lands.

This role is predominantly remote with no regular travel requirement, so candidates who want to do their best work from home rather than on the road will feel right at home here. Experience with Adobe Express, video or reel editing, and analytics reporting is beneficial but not essential. A background in events, exhibitions or B2B agency environments is a bonus, but what matters most is comfort with pace, ambiguity and the kind of Event Social Media Manager role where you set the rhythm.
