This multifaceted organisation own, manage and operate a varied portfolio of venues and event space predominately located across London. Combining corporate venues, rooftop terraces and luxury event space through to vast industrial space with a capacity of 6,000 - their portfolio is truly diverse and offers the perfect setting for every kind of event from conferences, dinners, and corporate projects through to high profile private events and ground breaking brand focused events such as product launches, fashion shows and experiential activations. They work with an enviable client base including the likes of Nike, Netflix, Dior and Facebook and are on track to activate 10 new venues in the next 12 months!
With in-house marketing and creative teams; this forward thinking organisation has everything it needs to deliver some of the most interesting and varied projects you will come across. They have a rapidly expanding team due to ongoing growth and are looking for an experience Sales & Events Manager to build on this further.
As Sales & Events Manager you will be responsible for sales and project delivery across the full portfolio of venues. Your role will cover all types of client and event projects so variation is huge! Key responsibilities will include:
-Managing incoming enquiries and taking bookings
-Proactively selling venue space across the portfolio
-Carrying out site visits with potential clients
-Organising event requirements through to final details
-Collaborating with internal teams including operations, creative, marketing
-Managing key external suppliers to ensure successful delivery
-Ensuring event finances and invoicing is managed effectively
-Driving activity and ideas to maximise revenue
-Acting as a point of client contact on the event day when required
-Holding exceptional knowledge of the full portfolio of venues
The ideal candidate will be working in a sales focused role based in a busy and diverse event venue (or portfolio of venues) - all venue types will be considered provided you have a proven sales track record ideally working with corporate and/or blue chip clients. We are looking for proactive, ambitious and forward thinking individuals who are keen to succeed in a busy and exciting role. Any experience in overseeing the delivery of the event itself would be beneficial.
