With further expansion on the horizon, they are now seeking a driven Business Development Director to join their Sales team and push the agency to greater heights!
As Business Development Director, you will be responsible for working with senior members to devise company objectives and sales strategies. Delving into new markets within the industry, you will be responsible for obtaining new client accounts, leading on pitches and ensure the Event Management Team deliver quality projects, overseeing exceeding the clients objectives.
Your responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
Client management and development
Devising sales strategies
Identifying new prospect clients
Getting in touch with prospects to unearth new business
Meeting with clients to present credentials
Ensuring efficient tender response time
Attending networking events
The ideal candidate must have strong previous sales experience within the events sector, ideally selling the services of an event or experiential agency. Candidates must already sit at a senior level with their company and have experience of creating sales initiatives. As Business Development Director, you must have previous team management experience, be a strong communicator, well organised and dependable!
