Working already with some of the world's most high profile brands this agency is well known for creating unforgettable experiences both in sporting, culture and live events. They deliver events such as sponsored fan zones, sponsorship activation at major sports events, roadshows and communications events - they are now looking to grow and develop their live events and brand experience offering with this new role spearheading the strategy.
Working with the senior management team this newly created Business Development Director role will be integral in shaping the direction of the agency and driving its success.
The role will include the following areas:
* Alongside the senior management team setting the strategy for live events
* Prospecting and engaging potential clients with activity
* Unearthing new business opportunities with key brands and taking initial briefs
* Developing a deep understanding of key and new client needs
* Leading on pitch opportunities with support from the experiential delivery team
* Building up and maintaining a new business pipeline
* Utilising Salesforce to update client activity
* Generating agreed revenue and profit targets
* Selling across the wide range of services from experiential to production
You will be a proven sales and new business professional currently working within the experiential and live events sector. Strategic, but with a hands on approach, you will have a natural ability to engage key client stakeholders and offer a holistic solution to their experiential and live events requirements. A curious disposition, combined with the ability to suggest out of the ordinary solutions, will be imperative for tis position - excellent communications and presentation skills is a given.
