THE COMPANY

This event and production agency have really built a name for themselves and have an impressive client base across the media, retail and financial sectors. They deliver live events from conferences and awards through to brand experiences and experiential, both across the UK and overseas. As well as massive amounts of expertise they are able to offer a real creative edge to their designs, putting together bespoke and engaging projects for their clients.

Due to their on-going success, they are now looking for a Business Development Manager to join their team and really drive new business forward.


THE ROLE

Joining the company as a crucial member of the team, you will be promoting the broad range of services of this agency and responsibilities will span the following areas:

Setting sales targets alongside the Sales Director
Actively developing business from new clients
Generating and converting leads
Researching and contacting new prospect businesses
Securing a pipeline of on-going profitable revenue
Work closely with all internal departments of the business to ensure all services of the business are offered and upsold
Booking and attending client meetings
Presentation preparation and pitching
Networking at events and trade shows
Building long lasting relationships with key clients
Attending events on-site if required


THE CANDIDATE

The ideal candidate will need to have proven experience of bringing in new business within an event or production agency. A proven track record of developing relationships and identifying and winning business is essential and candidates must have figures to support this. Candidates must be commercially aware, client facing and have proven experience in leading pitches.
