Providing full event management and production, they work across a wide range of industry sectors delivering events including conferences, press launches, awards ceremonies and incentive programmes both in the UK and internationally.

THE ROLE

Due to continued growth, a new opportunity has now been created for an experienced Business Development Manager to come on board and drive the business forward. A broad role responsibilities include:

Developing sales strategy inline with business objectives

Actively developing business from new clients

Generating new leads

Working with internal teams and the wider business

Identifying new opportunities

Developing RFP's and proposals

Pitching for business

Building long lasting relationships

Networking at events and trade shows

Line management and development of the team

THE CANDIDATE

The ideal candidate will have a proven background in seeking out and winning business ideally gained from working within an event agency environment, although other event related backgrounds will also be considered. Candidates need to have a solid understanding of the events market and have experience of creating RFP responses and proposals. Candidates must have strengths in developing relationships and identifying opportunities, as well as pitching for business. A delivery background in this area would be useful but more important is the ability to build instant rapport and develop long term relationships with clients.
