THE ROLE

There is now an exciting opportunity for a strong Business Development Manager to come on board and drive revenue forward through bringing on board new clients. A broad role responsibilities will include:

  • Developing a sales strategy inline with business objectives

  • Proactively targeting new clients and business

  • Driving revenue forward across the venue

  • Building and developing relationships and networking across the industry

  • Pitching for business

  • Working closely with delivery and marketing teams

  • Ensuring you are kept up to date with industry trends

  • Being on site when necessary to develop and strengthen relationships

THE PERSON

Candidates must have a solid and proven background of proactive sales, with figures in support of this. In addition candidates need to have a knowledge of the events sector (ideally gained from working either within an agency or venue) and any exposure of selling large scale venue space would be an added benefit. Experience of working with high end luxury clients would be beneficial but more important is the ability to develop relationships and identify opportunities.
