THE ROLE

Due to continued success there is now the opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join their team and drive the business forward, selling corporate event management solutions. Working as part of a global sales team responsibilities include:

  • Developing sales strategy inline with business objectives

  • Actively developing business from new clients

  • Building long lasting relationships

  • Developing business with existing clients including upselling and cross-selling

  • Working with the Head of Business Development and internal teams

  • Booking and attending client meetings

  • Presentation preparation and leading on pitches

  • Networking at events and trade shows

THE CANDIDATE

The ideal candidate will have a proven background in developing and winning business gained from working with an agency environment, ideally within the MICE industry. Candidates must have strengths in developing relationships and identifying opportunities, as well as pitching for business. A delivery background in this area would be useful but more importantly is ability to build instant rapport and develop long term relationships with clients.
