Great new business opportunity to join a fantastic creative company focusing on developing their niche market in the museums and heritage sector!

THE COMPANY

This innovative and creative company based on the outskirts of Birmingham are becoming the ones to watch in the world of creative design and build of some unusual and wonderful projects - spanning the leisure, live events and graphics arenas. With an already established client base in leisure and an exciting strategy for new sector growth within the UK heritage market, this fantastic business is looking to build upon their recent success and are even opening a London office to accommodate some of their client wins. As an agency they have dedicated departments including design as well as production (manufacturing and build of projects) from their Midlands hub.

THE ROLE

An opportunity has now arisen for a Business Development Manager to join the team and take the reigns in developing and implementing the sales strategy for this new and exciting sector. This is a stand alone role with a huge amount of scope for development and progression as well as an uncapped earning opportunity!

Working closely with the MD and the Marketing Manager the role will entail:

* Creating the new business strategy for this niche sector
* Unearthing new opportunities for working in the sector
* Generating leads and following them up
* Introducing the services of the agency to prospects
* Attending face to face meetings and pitches
* Presenting credentials to prospect clients
* Networking at industry events

THE CANDIDATE

As an experienced business development manager with a results-driven approach, the ideal candidate will have passion and deep knowledge with heritage and museums with a well networked career to date! The ability to build and develop relationships and a proven track record in sales is imperative - as is a confident and friendly personality.
