RMG15374 - We are looking for a Business Development Manager to join a creative production agency based in the East Midlands

THE COMPANY

This boutique and established production agency produce a range of live and corporate events throughout the UK and Europe, for pharmaceutical and financial clients in particular. They produce and deliver a wide range of events from smaller meetings through to large-scale conferences, roadshows and exhibitions.

They have an established and loyal client base and have an outstanding reputation within the industry for delivering production and creative services.

THE ROLE

This growing production agency are now looking for a Business Development Manager to join their team and play a lead role in generating and managing new sales as well as maximising opportunities with existing clients.

Key responsibilities include;

  • General new sales leads
  • Building, growing and maintaining new client relationships
  • Carrying out research and identifying new clients / industries
  • Attending regular client meetings
  • Producing presentations and pitching for new business
  • Putting together quotes and proposals
  • Maximising existing accounts through cross-selling and up-selling
  • Working closely with in-house Marketing, Events and Production teams
  • Reporting sales figures

THE CANDIDATE

To be considered for this Business Development Manager role you will have proven sales experience from within the events industry, having worked within an events agency, production agency or AV supply company. You will have a track record of converting business within the event and experiential marketing industry.

We are looking for consultative sales skills teamed with strong communication and negotiation skills.
