THE ROLE

Due to ongoing success there is now an exciting opportunity for a Delegate Acquisition Manager to come on board and be responsible for inviting and securing delegates for the event.

Responsibilities are broad and include:

  • Managing the invitation process including sending invites

  • Delegate management including staying in touch throughout the process

  • Telesales including contacting delegates before the event to explain the benefits of attending

  • Researching new companies through various methods

  • Database management including categorising delegates

  • Working closely with internal teams

  • Managing cancellations and replacements

  • Researching industry trends through attending events and speaking with delegates

  • Attending events to meet and great delegates

THE CANDIDATE

Candidates must have experience of managing and communicating with delegates and ideally have had experience of explaining the benefits of attending events in a consultative way. Experience of researching new companies and identifying attendees is key and in addition candidates must have strengths in building relationships. Candidates must be open to both UK and international travel as they will be required to go onsite to manage the events.
