THE COMPANY

Our client is one of the UK's largest and fastest growing event agencies! They deliver a range of exciting and memorable events across Europe and they work with some of the biggest household name brands.

THE ROLE

Due to on going growth plans we are now looking for an Event Account Manager to come in and join this dynamic team. Here you will be primarily managing and developing key client accounts and service inbound event enquiries.

As part of your role you will work directly with clients to take the brief and understand their exact needs. As an Account Manager you will be directly responsible for managing clients from the point of enquiry through to confirmation, managing core accounts to maintain and develop healthy relationships to help grow business levels.

You will be given a portfolio of key accounts to manage, nurture and grow, increasing revenues and profit in the process. You will spend time out on the road, with clients as well as time spent with the team in the office.

The key duties of the Account Manager will focus on:

Reactively manage inbound event enquiries

Attending client meetings

Taking client briefs - really understanding the clients business, needs and objectives

Brainstorming ideas and putting together proposals

Presenting to clients

Liaise and negotiate with external suppliers

Growing, developing and nurturing business within an allocated portfolio

Building and maintaining relationships throughout accounts

Networking across the accounts within different departments

Overseeing smooth delivery on events by working closely with the operations teams.

THE CANDIDATE

The successful candidate must have experience within a sales or events. You will be able to network and build effective relations strategically.
