EVENT COORDINATOR - MEMBERSHIP ORGANISATION

The organisation are one of the world's leading, international companies delivering events ranging from conferences, exhibitions and congresses for members across the globe with over 10,000 members - this organisation provides policy updates and legal events to promote and teach professionals in this sector. Events can range from training courses for 20 pax, to their largest annual conference and expo which sees 2000 pax attend.
A new opportunity has become available within the events department as an Event Coordinator to lead on the delivery of a range of conferences, events and meetings working closely with the events and sales team, this person will be key to the delivery of the annual events programme and will involve internal and external stakeholder management.
Working on the events from initial planning stage including developing specific strategies
Leading the delivery of their conferences ranging from 200 - 300 pax
Full logistics including venue finding, catering, AV, delegate and registration management, conference materials, social events and onsite management.
Developing the content of the programme alongside the committee
Speaker management and booking their travel and accommodation
Attending site visits and pre-planning meetings at venues
Overseeing the delivery of the event on-site
Sourcing new suppliers and negotiating preferable rates
Budget management and reconciliation
The ideal person will have experience managing conferences and exhibitions. My client will consider backgrounds in associations, conference and exhibition organisers as well as client side roles. This is a lovely team within in a great organisation and could be the next step in your career!
