This global events agency are seeking a strong Event Manager to work as an implant for one of their well-known pharmaceutical clients at their head offices - great opportunity to work client side!

THE COMPANY

With a pedigree in delivering a host of large scale events on a truly global scale, this is the agency to work for! Their client base is the who's who of healthcare clients and they touch all areas of the events spectrum from small meetings to ad boards to global congresses and everything in between. Due to some exciting extensions and developments on their key accounts, we are now recruiting a role that will be based at the client's offices as an implanted Event Manager.

THE ROLE

Supporting the established events team, this Event Manager position will work closely with the head of the events department to oversee a global meetings and events programme. The role will be based within a corporate team, however you will be employed by the events agency.

The range of duties will include:

* Working closely with the senior team
* Liaising with agencies
* Briefing out events to agencies
* Project managing the full logistics
* Budget management
* Venue and supplier management
* Delegate management
* On-site event management

THE CANDIDATE

The ideal candidate will understand the landscape of pharmaceutical events and be available to start a role as soon as possible. We will consider candidates from corporate and agency backgrounds, what is really important is the capability to deliver a range of corporate events from end to end (UK and internationally) as well as a proven ability in managing and reconciling budgets. Strong communication skills and a dedication to a career in events are also essential.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a global player as an initial 6 - 12 month FTC with a strong chance the role could go permanent.
