THE ROLE

Due to increased business and the volume and demand of upcoming events they are now looking for an Event Manager to come on board and ensure the operational running of events. A broad role you will be working on a variety of conferences and exhibitions as well as events which run alongside these including dinners, drinks receptions and golf days

Responsibilities are broad and include:

  • Venue sourcing and liaison

  • Preparing online exhibitor manuals

  • Uploading and maintaining conference agenda on the website

  • Logistics including travel and accommodation booking for staff / speakers

  • Preparing onsite materials

  • Speaker and delegate liaison

  • Overseeing the registration for delegates, sponsors, speakers and exhibitors

  • Liaising with internal teams

  • Supplier liaison and management

  • Onsite management including managing staff and freelancers onsite

  • Budget management and reconciliation (of multiple currencies)

  • Post event reporting and analysis

THE CANDIDATE

Candidates must have experience of running events within the conference / exhibition industry and ideally have had experience of working on overseas events. Strong logistics experience is key as it the ability to manage multiple currency budgets. Experience of running international exhibitions / conferences and of speaker / sponsor management would be an added benefit. Languages are a huge advantage for this role especially French, Spanish, Portuguese or Arabic. In addition candidates must be open to international travel.
