A rare opportunity to join a leading global agency within a senior management position and oversee flawless event delivery combined with profitable business performance!

THE AGENCY

Focusing almost exclusively on clients in the healthcare sector, as well as financial services and other blue chips, this agency delivers on the scale of globally implemented strategic meetings through to one off product launches with full live event production. With account teams dedicated to particular clients in order to streamline working processes and efficiencies for the client they operate in the UK and from global offices.

THE ROLE

Due to an internal restructure a newly created senior role has become available to enable the heads of each event operations team to be led from the front and have a more focused reporting line. This role is global with teams in the UK and Asia and gives the opportunity to work for a highly regarded agency

As Operations Director your role will cover the following:

* Reporting into Board Level with 5 direct reports
* Leading the account teams to have seamless event delivery
* Mentoring and developing Account Directors in their career
* Accountable for meeting annual GP targets across the teams
* Being part of a wider senior leadership team
* Staying involved in key client reviews where necessary
* Ensuring all SLAs and key operational processes are met
* Networking within the agency as a face of the events business

THE CANDIDATE

You will be at the top of your game in your current role within an events agency and ready for the next step in your career. A background in event delivery, specifically in the pharmaceutical sector, alongside the ability to lead a team to success is a pre-requisite. Being part of this business means the commercial and financial elements of the role are key - you must be comfortable with this and ideally have had P&L responsibility in your current role.
