THE COMPANY

The agency is a full service events, marketing and communications agency that delivers live events as part of wider marketing campaigns for an impressive portfolio of blue chip clients across sectors including automotive, telecoms and IT.

Events include large road shows, award ceremonies and experiential events through to large-scale conferences both in the UK and overseas. With in house design, creative, video, production and event logistics they are winning new accounts, growing existing clients and rapidly becoming a key agency to work for.

THE ROLE

As an Event Sales Coordinator you will sit within the client's Sales & Marketing team in Surrey and will have responsibility for coordinating and driving the commercial processes involved in the sale of the various events, from dealing with customer enquiries to managing bookings and delivering revenue to the business.

Key duties:

  • Act as first point of contact for all incoming enquiries via phone and email
  • Managing and answering customer enquiries over the phone, by email and face to face
  • Updating bookings and customer records in the relevant systems
  • Send daily updates to the event planning team
  • Send invoices out to customers
  • Manage any event cancellations directly with the relevant customers
  • Work with the guest management team after each event
  • Organise weekly meetings with the sales team

THE CANDIDATE

The role will be mainly administrative but equally customer facing. The successful applicant will, therefore, need to be adaptable in developing relationships within the different departments and teams within the client

If you are currently working within sales administration within an automotive dealership and looking to move into the world of events then this could be the role for you!

Any automotive experience would be hugely beneficial, as would:

  • Previous experience in a sales or administration role

  • Excellent customer service skills

  • Excellent IT skills in excel, access and PowerPoint

  • High attention to detail

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
