There is now an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Director to join their close-knit and dedicated team and deliver events across their client base. A broad, and all encompassing role responsibilities will include:
Managing events from initial concept through to delivery
Maintaining and developing client relationships
Proposal writing and venue sourcing
Supporting in pitching for business (when required)
Full logistics including travel and accommodation booking
Delegate registration and management
Supplier management and negotiation including AV and DMC's
Budget management including full financial reconciliation
Candidates must have a solid background of international events experience and a proven background in managing and delivering events from brief through to onsite management and financial reconciliation. Candidates must have managed event logistics previously including liaising and negotiating prices with suppliers and booking travel and accommodation. Agency / med coms experience would be preferred however candidates from a corporate background would also be considered. Any exposure to working in the pharmaceutical sector / on healthcare events would be an added benefit as would any language skills but neither are essential for the role. More importantly is the ability to work well under pressure, have meticulous attention to detail and thrive in a busy working environment. Please note candidates must be open to international travel as onsite management of the events will be required.
