THE ROLE

Working closely with the Head of Events and wider events team you will be responsible for taking the operational lead on both indoor and outdoor events. A broad role your responsibilities will include:

*Overseeing event delivery including taking the lead on larger events
*Full logistical and operational delivery of events
*Resource planning and coordination of delivery teams to ensure operational success
*Being the main point of contact for clients
*Working closely with the sales and marketing departments
*Supplier and contractor management
*Ensuring health and safely compliance
*Internal and external stakeholder management
*Budget management and reconciliation
*Onsite management

THE CANDIDATE

Candidates must have managed large scale outdoor events previously including managing all aspects such as traffic control, security and health and safely. Exposure to managing events such as festivals or large public events would be ideal as well as exposure to managing multiple suppliers and dealing with elements including entertainment licences. Previous experience of managing a team would be preferred but more important is that candidates have a strong work ethic, an eye for detail and "can do" approach.
