THE ROLE

Due to some exciting growth plans there is now an opportunity for a proven Sales and Events Director to come on board, manage a team and maximise revenue across the portfolio. With a focus on 2 of their most iconic venues responsibilities are broad and include:

  • Developing a sales strategy

  • Proactively targeting new businesses

  • Driving revenue forward across the venues

  • Ensuring current accounts are maximised

  • Identifying opportunities

  • Pitching for business

  • Working closely with internal delivery and marketing teams

  • Building and developing relationships

  • Oversee the operational delivery of events

  • Ensuring you are kept up to date with industry trends

  • Being on site when necessary to develop and strengthen relationships

  • Managing and developing a team

THE PERSON

Candidates must have a solid and proven background of proactive sales, with figures in support of this. In addition candidates need to have extensive knowledge of the events sector and ideally strong London venue knowledge. Candidates must be client facing and have significant strengths in pitching for business and developing relationships. Experience of managing and developing a team is preferred as is a proven background in overseeing the delivery of events. More importantly candidates must have a passion for events and an enthusiasm to work for one of the leading companies in London!
