THE COMPANY

This well established PCO have a solid base of experience and an unrivalled reputation for producing leading conferences across the healthcare sector. Working with over 300 clients they delivery a range of conferences and exhibitions across the year. Ranging in size these events often span multiple days with their largest event attracting over 2,000pax with over 100 exhibitors and speakers.

THE ROLE

Due to continued growth they are now looking for a Senior Conference Co-ordinator to come on board and join their close-knit team. Managing a portfolio of conferences across the year responsibilities are board and will include:

  • Client liaison including ensuring progress and timelines are communicated

  • Venue liaison

  • Speaker, programme and stakeholder management

  • Being the main point of contact for all exhibitors and sponsors

  • Logistics support

  • Supplier liaison and negotiation including managing AV suppliers

  • Managing the production of printed materials

  • Supporting with marketing including social media management and updating websites

  • Ensuring co-ordination between internal teams

  • Onsite management

  • Budget management

THE CANDIDATE

Candidates must have had experience of working on conferences previously, ideally gained from working for a PCO or conference / exhibition organiser. Experience of liaising with and managing suppliers is key and candidates should ideally have had experience managing sponsors, speakers and exhibitors. Attention to detail is essential and candidates must be used to working on multiple projects simultaneously. Any knowledge of the pharmaceutical / healthcare sector would be an added benefit but is not essential.
