Due to continued success and constant new business wins, there is now an opportunity for a Technical Event Manager to take a lead role within a leading London based venue. Here you will be responsible for managing the client relationship and developing business within the venue and oversee overall management of the AV services.
As a Technical Manager you will act as the primary liaison with the venue /clients to handle any issues and help to drive the profitability of the operation by increasing sales and managing the variables costs.
Key duties will include:
- Point of client contact
- Shows rounds
- Marketing and promoting the company's services - upselling and cross selling technical products
- Developing new business within the venue
- Line management of technical team
- Overseeing technical set up and operation
- Sourcing external suppliers
- Sourcing additional labour
- Review and development of annual and quarterly budgets
The ideal candidate will have excellent client facing skills, sales capabilities to up sell and cross sell products, and be experienced in guiding prospective clients through the technical side of their event.
