Actively developing business from new clients to maximise revenue
Managing and developing relationships to encourage spend across all areas of the business
Researching and contacting new prospect businesses
Lead generation and identifying new target sectors
Booking and attending client meetings with prospects
Taking briefs and creating proposals
Working closely with internal teams
Leading the pitch process, presenting credentials and ultimately securing new clients
Liaising with suppliers and managing SLA's
Gaining a deep understanding of client's needs through networking at events and trade shows
Onsite attendance for events where required
The ideal candidate will currently be working for an agency and have a strong sales background with proven experience of selling event services to corporate clients. Candidates must be experienced in managing and growing accounts and associated revenue, with excellent commercial awareness.
Strong client facing skills are key as is the ambition and hunger to develop new business. A background of event delivery would be beneficial and candidates must be confident at presenting to a senior level.

CONFERENCE AND EVENT PLANNER - MEMBERSHIP ORGANISATION
This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established events team within a well know association and lead on the delivery of a range of high profile conferences and exhibitions!
This organisation is the leading specialist medical association delivering conferences, exhibitions and congresses for members across the UK with over 3,000 members including consultants, HCPs, clinicians and trainee Doctors - this organisation provides policy updates and educational events to promote excellence in care. Events can range from training courses for 20 pax, to their largest annual conference and expo which sees 2000 pax attend.
A new opportunity has become available within the events department as a Conference and Event Planner to lead on the delivery of a range of conferences, events and meetings working closely with the events and sales team, this person will be key to the delivery of the annual events programme and will involve internal and external stakeholder management.
Working on the events from initial planning stage including developing educational strategy
Leading the delivery of their conferences ranging from 200 - 300 pax
On the larger events taking ownership for programme and exhibition management.
Full logistics including venue finding, catering, AV, delegate and registration management, conference materials, social events and onsite management.
Developing the content of the programme alongside the committee
Speaker management and booking their travel and accommodation
Attending site visits and pre-planning meetings at venues
Overseeing the delivery of the event on-site
Sourcing new suppliers and negotiating preferable rates
Budget management and reconciliation
Post event de-brief and looking at ROI
The ideal person will have experience managing conferences and exhibitions. My client will consider backgrounds in associations, conference and exhibition organisers as well as client side roles. This is a lovely team within in a great organisation and could be the next step in your career!

As Event Producer you will be responsible for providing production support across a broad variety of exciting projects.
Responsibilities are broad and will include:
* Contributing to mood boards and initial event concepts
* Supporting on client proposals
* Working closely with internal teams and the wider production team
* Liaising with key external suppliers
* Writing and delivering briefs internally and externally
* Researching venues, dressing elements, etc.
* Sourcing competitive quotes
* Preparing and working to project timelines
* Assisting with the creation of health & safety documents
* Providing onsite event production support
* Managing small scale budgets and supporting across larger ones
We are looking for candidates who are currently working in a Project Co-Ordinator or Junior/Mid-Weight Producer capacity within a creative agency. A proven passion for events, excellent organisational skills and the ability to work quickly but accurately across a broad range of projects are key to be considered. Any experience with managing event finances would be beneficial.

This interesting venue is now looking for an Event Sales Executive to join their team and play a key role in converting enquiries into events through developing relationships with a range of clients. You will be a central point of contact for all clients and enquires into the venue as well as supporting the events team.
As the Event Sales Executive, you will be responsible for;
To be considered for the Event Sales Executive role you must come with similar experience within a venue or hotel. You will have a proven track record of consistently achieving targets. Candidates who have worked within an event supplier converting enquiries will also be considered.
