This is a boutique experiential agency working exclusively within the automotive sector, part of a global organisation with more than 30 years of industry history behind it. The UK team has grown significantly in recent years and is continuing to expand, with a project management structure that promotes from within and a track record of developing Event Project Manager talent into senior roles. It is a supportive environment where people are given real ownership and the backing to do their best work.
The Role
As Event Project Manager you will take full ownership of automotive events from pitch and planning through to on-site delivery and post-event wrap, working across a varied portfolio of media launches, test-drive programmes, brand experiences, conferences and retailer training events in the UK and internationally, with budgets ranging from £10,000 to £1 million.
– Manage projects end-to-end from brief through to post-event reporting
– Handle client liaison and day-to-day stakeholder management
– Build and manage project budgets, including supplier negotiation and cost tracking
– Coordinate logistics across vehicles, venues, guest movements and supplier teams
– Run multiple projects simultaneously to deadline and budget
– Support and mentor junior coordinators and freelancers on live projects
– Work closely with the Account Director on planning and delivery
The Candidate
The right Event Project Manager will have taken projects from brief through to delivery and knows what it takes to keep complex logistics on track under pressure. You have managed budgets, negotiated with suppliers, handled client relationships and run multiple projects at the same time without dropping the detail.
Automotive industry experience is beneficial but not essential, as is a background in international or large-scale experiential programmes and test-drive events. Experience leading or mentoring junior team members would also be an advantage. What matters most is genuine project ownership, strong logistics instincts and the drive to take on more responsibility as the team grows.
