With an internal event management and production team they are well versed in delivering exciting events across a the multiple spaces within the venue. They are now looking for a Head of Technical & Production to lead the production department and technical provision across the whole event portfolio and venue space. The Role They are currently looking for a Head of Technical & Production to join their thriving team, sitting within the senior leadership team - this unique role will be diverse covering overall production output as well as team management.As Head of Technical & Production responsibilities will include: - Leading the technical and production department within the venue- Holding oversight of all technical and production output- Liaising with clients and leading on some projects in a hands on capacity- Managing procurement of all technical equipment- Coordinating relationships with key suppliers- Leading on health & safety processes within the venue- Contributing to the strategic management of the venue and technical department- Acting as a key member of the senior leadership team- Managing the annual technical budget- Managing the technical production team (11 people) The Candidate Candidates need to have a solid background in the hands on technical production of live events as well as a senior layer to their experience including proven team management and strategic oversight of a department. The ideal candidate for this Head of Technical & Production role will have experience within a music, theatre or arts led environment however candidates with transferable backgrounds from other areas of the event industry may also be considered. Those from within an events venue would be preferable however candidates from a production agency or technical supply company may also hold relevant transferable skills.
