The Company:
This role is working for a leading live event production company, who deliver everything from bespoke staging and temporary structures to complete event solutions. The work varies from festivals, sporting events, ceremonies, brand activations, and more. They work with global brands and well-known businesses.
The Role:
They are now looking to add an additional CAD Designer. They need someone to join the team that will play a key role in supporting the design and delivery of high-profile live events. You’ll produce accurate 2D and 3D technical drawings that bring complex event concepts to life….
- Create and develop 2D layout drawings and 3D models for events using AutoCAD and other relevant software.
- Work from concept sketches, technical briefs, and client specifications to produce accurate plans for structures, stages, site layouts, and rigging elements.
- Manage and archive CAD files in an organised and accessible manner.
- Conduct site visits as required to verify measurements and site conditions.
- Stay updated on current industry trends and regulations relating to temporary event structures.
The Candidate:
In order to be a successful candidate, you must have experience of being a CAD Designer and have experience of creating both 2D drawings and 3D models. Within this creative role you must have experience of working with event structures and large scaled environments.
