THE ROLE

THE ROLE
Due to continued success and growth, this events agency is looking for a Delegate Coordinator to join their delegate team. In this role you are responsible for creating, maintaining and developing registration websites.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Supporting the Account Managers
* Providing effective solutions for all aspects of registration
* Proposal writing and pitching registration solutions when required
* Ensuring that registration project plans and time line process is adhered to
* Utilising delegate registrations systems such as Cvent or Starcite
* Managing budgets
* Working closely with third party suppliers
* Producing regular progress reports
THE CANDIDATE
To be considered for this Delegate Coordinator role candidates must have proven experience in delegate registration, ideally from working within the events industry. You must have strong knowledge of registration systems (Cvent and/or Starcite) and must be proficient in IT with strong database skills being essential.

THE ROLE

Candidates must have experience delivering conferences from within either an association or corporate environment, preferably with some virtual / hybrid experience.
Candidates will also need to be organised, have excellent communication skills and be used to managing multiple projects independently.

The Agency
Traditionally delivering jaw dropping global events for some of the world's most prestigious brands this agency moved fast into the virtual world and haven't looked back since.
They were always known for fantastic creative ideas and content development, which meant they were ideally positioned to use their experience to make virtual and hybrid events different, creative and ultimately more engaging.
With the virtual events they are delivering becoming more complex there is a need for an experienced IT Technician to take control of their internal IT, and the interaction between it and their virtual event platforms.
The role
As part of their close knit team you will be the go to person for all things IT related within the business. Completely cloud based there's a lot of large files (video, audio etc) moved about between departments, challenges around the uploading of these files to their platforms, a complex range of software being used and the usual office IT associated with a fast moving and cutting edge business.
In short it's abroad role where you will identify the best ways of working and be given the resources and responsibility for making that happen, including;
* Identify the best systems / processes for the business
* Develop their cloud based approach to internal IT
* Troubleshoot IT issues on an individual and company level
* Oversee large file transfers internally and to their virtual event platforms
* Help in the creation of microsites
The Candidate
Candidates should have experience working independently as an IT Technician, preferably within a smaller but fast-moving business. Experience of the events industry or virtual event platforms would be advantageous but not essential.
