The Role Due to increased business from both existing and new clients there is now the need for an experienced Senior Event Manager to come on board and take the lead on a range of events across the year! A broad role responsibilities include: • Managing varied events from briefing stage through to onsite delivery• Briefing and working with internal teams including production, creative & delegate registration • Venue and supplier management and negotiation• Budget management and reconciliation• Overseeing project scheduling, timelines and deadlines• Driving event delivery onsite both in the UK and internationally• Managing and mentoring more junior members on a project basis• Onsite management, including managing freelancers and suppliers The Candidate Candidatesmust have a solid and proven background of end to end event delivery (through to budget reconciliation), ideally gained from working within an event agency setting, although other backgrounds may be considered. Strong venue and supplier management skills are essential, as it the ability to work closely with internal teams to ensure delivery. Senior Event Managers who have had exposure to working on large scale events (including conferences and incentives) would be preferred. To be considered for this Senior Event Manager candidates must be open to UK and international travel.
