Hybrid working - 2 days South West London / 3 from home - A fantastic opportunity to take the lead on a diverse range of UK and international projects for a forward-thinking events agency. Their broad portfolio includes live international residential and non-residential events including conferences, roadshows, product launches, exhibitions, business meetings, hospitality and incentives for numbers ranging from 20 – 2000 pax. Specialising in a variety of sectors including tech and financial services this agency works as a close-knit team ensuring an excellent service is delivered when managing events on behalf of their clients. Due to continued growth, they are now looking for a Senior Event Manager to join their team and lead on range of projects across the year! THE ROLE Reporting directly into the Event Director, the responsibilities of a Senior Event Manager will include: • Taking and interpreting briefs• Contributing to event pitches and costings• Inputting into creative ideas to ensure proposals are engaging• End to end event management• Client management• Working closely with internal teams• Supplier and DMC management and negotiation• Budget management and reconciliation• Onsite management including the management of suppliers and freelancers THE CANDIDATE The ideal candidate will have experience of working within an agency environment managing and delivering events from start to finish. You will have excellent organisation skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure. A proven experience of delivering international events (particularly in locations including USA and APAC) would be preferred but is not essential. Experience of proposal creation and pitching would be highly advantageous as would experience of managing projects teams!
