THE ROLE

Due to an increase in business both from existing accounts and additional wins they are now looking for an Account Director to come on board and help drive the business forwards. With an emphasis on client management and operational delivery the role and is broad and includes:

*Account management and growth
*Identifying new opportunities
*Pitching for business when required
*Building and developing long lasting relationships with clients
*Being the main point of contact
*Supplier and DMC liaison and management including contract negotiation
*Ensuring operational delivery including taking the lead on larger events
*Networking at events and trade shows to identify opportunities
*Budget management and reconciliation
*Onsite management
*Line management and development of staff

THE CANDIDATE

The ideal candidate would be someone currently working within a similar role at an event agency with a solid and proven background in operational delivery. Candidates must be client facing and ideally have had experience of managing and growing accounts previously, with particular strengths in relationship development.
