THE COMPANY

Working on a broad range of events across the UK and internationally this award winning boutique agency offer seamless event delivery across a variety of sectors including financial services, insurance and media to name a few! As experts in operational delivery and execution they produce over 70 events a year including large scale conferences and incentive events! THE ROLE

Due to an increase in business both from existing accounts and additional wins they are now looking for an experienced Account Director to come on board and help drive the business forwards. With an emphasis on client management, account growth and pitching for business the role and is broad and includes:

  • Growing and developing existing accounts

  • Creation and management of account plans, including financial forecasting

  • Working closely with the Operations Director

  • Being the main point of contact for accounts

  • Identifying new opportunities and converting these

  • Working closely with the operations team in regards to proposal generation

  • Leading on pitches

  • Working closely with the operations team to oversee delivery and ensure repeat business on events

  • Building and developing long lasting relationships with clients

  • Onsite management including networking at events and trade shows to identify opportunities and develop relationships

THE CANDIDATE

The ideal candidate would be someone currently working within a similar role at an event agency. A previous background in operational delivery would be advantageous but more importantly candidates must be commercially aware and have a proven background in managing and developing relationships. Candidates must have a proven background in pitching for business and creating and delivering accounts plans, with proven figures to show the results of this. Due to the nature of the role candidates must be open to both UK and international travel.
