THE ROLE
Due to continued business growth they are now looking for an Account Manager to join their UK team who produce award-winning creative and scientific communications for a range of pharmaceutical clients. Reporting into the Account Director this is a broad role and responsibilities include:

  • Supporting across a variety of accounts
  • Project Management including creating, communicating and managing timelines and budgets
  • Client management including communicating timelines and deliverables
  • Strengthening and developing relationships
  • Working closely with the scientific writing team and other internal departments
  • Operational management including resource talent for projects
  • Budget management including cost negotiation and communication of the budget
  • Mentoring of Account Executives

THE CANDIDATE
Candidates must have proven experience working for a healthcare agency, ideally as an Account Manager or Senior Account Executive. Candidates must have a passion for building client relationships and be confident liaising directly with clients and managing projects through to delivery with a proven track record of this. Briefing and managing internal resource and the ability to manage and reconcile financials on projects is also essential. A solid understanding of the regulated healthcare environment, as well as an understanding of appropriate healthcare codes and compliance is also essential. Experience or a passion for oncology, HCP and patient engagement, educational experience or exposure to digital education experiences / e-learning would be an added benefit but is not essential for the role. Any congress experience including satellite symposia would again be beneficial.
