THE ROLE

There is now an opportunity for an ambitious Business Development Manager to join their small but dynamic sales team, working with a range of blue chip clients across a wide range of industries. As the face of the business you will spend time out with clients as well as with the team in the office, developing, nurturing and growing client relationships, no two days will ever be the same!

Key responsibilities of the Business Development Manager will include:

* Proactively generating and following up sales leads
* Identifying and targeting new business opportunities
* Site visits to meet prospective clients
* Taking event briefs and overseeing the pitch process internally
* Pulling together the proposal and presenting the options
* Commercial awareness, maximising company profits
* Nurturing and growing key client relationships
* Presenting credentials for new clients

THE CANDIDATE

The ideal candidate will have hands on new business experience from an agency background and be strategic and consultative in their approach. You must have the drive and self motivation needed to make an impact and really drive growth of the business. You will be working agency side selling full event management services (ideally with a strong production / live events understanding) with strong leadership and communications skills and looking for that next step in your career.

In return the agency will offer a basic salary of around £40,000 plus additional earning potential through bonus and commission - here you get to decide your own package, the more you sell the more you make!
